Castles and Hotels in Agadir

Agadir is a city counting 600 000 inhabitants. It is known to be the Europe's closest seaside resort. The exceptional site of the city includes a wonderful bay, the world's sunnier. Even in winter, its 20km of beach makes thousands of visitors happy every year. European-styled city, Agadir posseses the largest hotel complex of the country.
Situated between the High Atlas' top, Souss region is extremely fertile and is usually called the "Moroccan Orchard". Souss cultivates acres of fruit and vegetables and thus Agadir's international harbour remains its main exit. There is thus no surprise to assert that the city has been called "Souss's Harbour" for a long time. It is now Morocco's biggest harbour after Casablanca. Almost totally destroyed by an earthquake in 1960, Agadir has been rebuilt according to a modern urbanization plan. As you will have guessed, there is no point to visit Agadir as a traditionnal moroccan city, but you have to enjoy the city for its beach and go on an organized tour in the region, without forgeting to visit of the Souss Massa National Park.
