Luxury boutique hotels in Nord-Pas de Calais

Nord-Pas de Calais is one of the 26 regions of France. It consists of the departments of Nord and Pas-de-Calais, in the north and has a border with Belgium. Until the end of the 20th century both the region and the department were called Nord. The region was once part of the Southern Netherlands, within the Low Countries, and permanently became a part of France in 1713.

Valenciennes, Lens, Douai, Béthune, Dunkerqu, Maubeuge, Calais, Boulogne-sur-Mer, Arras and Cambrai

The climate in Nord-Pas de Calais is fairly similar to that of southeastern England. Thanks to the warm wasters of the North Atlantic drift Nord-Pas de Calais has a generally pleasant year round climate.
Nord-Pas de Calais has many other equally impressive old towns, and it was announced in 2004 that a branch of the Louvre museum would open in the city of Lens.
