Although Romanée Conti is known worldwide, the village of Vosne Romanée which produces wine is amongst the smallest ones of Burgundy. Viticultural residences are beautiful and kept remnants of the 16th century: according to the Gallic-Roman history, a Roman post took place along the commercial road linking Dijon to Beaune, through Nuits Saint Georges.
