The Turks and Caicos are part of the former British West Indies, a diversified group of Caribbean islands including Anguilla, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Monserrat, and the Turks and Caicos Islands, all dependent areas of the United Kingdom.
It consists of 40 different islands and cays, among which only 8 are inhabited. They are located at 575 miles south of Miami. From the main tourist center of “Providenciales” (Provo), to the quiet and tranquil islands of North and Middle Caicos to the historic Capital Island of Grand Turk; each one offers a different experience and a unique character but all of them offer year round great climate, beaches and underwater activities.

Most of the islands are only about 10 to 25 minutes by air from Provo and most can be reached by boat, too. There are also regular ferries from North to Middle Caicos.
Turks & Caicos Islands are known for the world’s most beautiful beaches, coral reefs, diving and fishing. The Islands are now protected by a government dedicated to preserving the islands natural beauty.
