Castles and Hotels in Prague
Prague (in Czech, Praha) is the capital and the biggest city in Czech Republic. It is also one of the fourteen regions of the country and the capital of the administrative region of Central-Bohemiaand of the historical region of Bohemia. It is crossed by Vltava (Moldau in German).
"The city with the hundred churches" (in fact Prague counts 550 towers) has escaped miraculously to the Second World War destructions and offers an architecture that mixes up several styles : preroman, roman, gothic, baroque, rococo, New Art and cubism. Since 1992, the historical city center is part of UNESCO's World Historical Patrimony.
Prague is one of the most beautiful cities in Europe: it counts churches, museums, palaces, and bridges. The Czech capital is also popular for its Renaissance castles, its charming cities of Bohemia, Marienbad and its thermal centers.
