There's no better place for visitors to admire the very same light and colours that enchanted the impressionists. Staying at la Corniche is all about atmosphere. Close to Normandy's regionand the city of Giverny, the stunning panorama and the attentive care with which the team welcome you are just two of the many reasons why you will pass a memorable stay by the Seine, whether visiting Claude Monet's region, looking for a seminar or simply stopping over in the area.

Our 34 fully-renovated rooms are split into 3 moods :
- At the Château you will find the bar and the restaurant, 4 meeting rooms, the reception and 18 rooms
- La Jeannette is a charming and elegant with 9 rooms.
- La Forestière is a cottage with 7 extremely quiet rooms bordered by trees and shrubs.

The decoration is based on warm and soothing colour schemes, coupled with contemporary furniture and stylish bathrooms.

Domaine de la Corniche is ideally situated about 40 minutes from Paris city centre and at the getaway to Normandy and close to Giverny.

On site, please take advantage of our open-air swimming pool (summertime), a tennis court and an american pool or take a stroll or ride your bike through the Rosny Forest.

Off site, Giverny and its museums, located at 12 kms : Monet's house and gardens and the Impressionism museum (formerly the American art museum).
The adjacent villages of La Roche Guyon (magnificent ancient castle) and Vétheuil are delightfully picturesque and simpled packed with atmosphere.

For Nature and Culture lovers, the Boucles de Seine nature and leisure park features a 300-acre lake ideal for watersports, plus a magnificent 18-hole golf course.

Our opinion

An exceptional site for this elegant nineteenth century manor house overlooking a loop of the Seine and thus offering a 180° panorama on this particular landscape that The Impressionists loved.
