In total intimacy with nature, the gastronomic restaurant of the Château de Massillan invites you to experience an exquisite cuisine, elaborated from the 4000 m² organic vegetable garden and seasonal products.
The Chef Mickaël Furnion's fresh and contrasting cuisine, takes pride of place in a modern setting with its impressive green environment, which can be seen through the large windows overlooking the magnificent park of the castle, its avenue of hundred-year-old plane trees and its bucolic pond.
In summer, the gastronomic restaurant settles in the inner courtyard around the fountain. Enjoy refined dishes in a unique and timeless atmosphere.
The gastronomic restaurant welcomes you for dinner on Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays from 7:30 pm to 9 pm. For the bistro, from Wednesday noon to Saturday noon and Sunday noon and evening.

Cadre superbe pour ce château du 16ème siècle grand parc, espace spa bien-être moderne très agréable, personnel attentionné. Très belle adresse pour un moment de détente hors du temps.

Just spent a long weekend at this great hitel. Lovely, peaceful location as well as a great spa (and massages) . Both restaurants also delicious. Would happily come back.

Before arrival we received 2 emails which was addressed to all arriving clients without using bcc - a very amateurish mistake. We were not happy with our personal email address being published like this. On arrival the reception greeting was also amateurish with a casually dressed young man clearly not trained for the purpose. Our room was excellent and the rest of the hotel was beautiful. The coffee for breakfast was a poor quality (a pod machine). In a gastronomic restaurant we would have expected a fresh bean espresso machine. Spa reception was also less than warm and professional and it was surprising to be charged to use the facilities- first time ever we have stayed in a hotel with a spa and being charged to use the basic facility. Overall we enjoyed staying in a beautiful and peaceful place but would recommend an improved staff selection and training programme.

Positif: Le château de Massillan a beaucoup de charme. Le bâtiment est très beaux et les extérieurs sont vastes et invitent à la promenade (mention spéciale pour le jardin qui sert à fournir le restaurant). Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le personnel de l'hôtel qui était compétant et chaleureux (notamment bons conseils sur les choses à faire dans les environs). Au niveau de l'offre culinaire, les petits déjeuners étaient bien et nous avons beaucoup aimé les repas du soir (aussi bien M que le bistrot): bon rapport qualité prix, service au top (bon équilibre entre sympathie et formalité) et le menu fait la part belle aux légumes (du jardin). Négatif: Le SPA est malheureusement très bruyant (les gens parlent fort dans le sauna et le hammam) et il n'existe aucun panneau pour indiquer le silence (contrairement à la majorité des SPAs), ce qui rend plus difficile de faire une remarque. La piscine a bulle est sympa mais beaucoup trop froide: à cette température, il faut nager. Petite déception au niveau de la salle de sport: on se fait virer de notre séance si quelq]u'un veut utiliser un fauteuil massant, ce qui est contraire à l'information qu'il est accessible en tout temps.

Une belle découverte, dans tous les sens du terme ! Venus pour participer à un chapitre des commanderies des Costes du Rhône, nous avons pu apprécier la cuisine du chef et nous détendre dans les beaux espaces du château et d’une chambre confortable . Le lendemain, les propriétaires charmants nous guident vers le marché aux truffes et signent ainsi un accueil aussi sympathique qu’agréable. Heureusement, car la raideur guindée de la jeune femme qui la veille a enregistré froidement notre arrivée , nous avait un peu déplu. Cette désagréable impression a totalement été effacée par les autres membres du personnel et le couple des propriétaires. Merci à eux
