If you check in you don’t want to leave - fantastic hotel

A fabulous destination with luxury throughout. We also ate dinner at the restaurant and it was one of the best meals we had while in France! You won’t regret booking here.

A few technical aspects still need to be addressed such as the pungent odor of barn animals on the third floor, slow internet and the elevator doors which did not open once we arrived at our floor (while we wete inside). These comments are meant to be constructive because they should be easily addressed and will not stop us from returning hopefully very soon

The Chateau is beautiful and has seen a lot of renovation and innovation over recent years. However as the Chateau has expanded the personal service and the feeling you are returning to old friends has diminished. The Chateau has expanded its appeal to a wider audience and you feel that it is not as exclusive as it once was and if you are on a romantic couples break you will be disturbed by the children shouting in the pool or if you are a family with children you will be forever on edge trying to keep your children quiet around and in the pool. The pool area is now cramped for the number of rooms at the Chateau. The staff also appears to change each year (July seemingly the popular month) meaning they are still finding their feet and not really confident and working to a script with that personal service missing. The Spa looks like a cheap addition from the outside. But inside it has been done beautifully and the massage I had was the best ever. There is a fitness room in the spa building but I never worked out whether this was for hotel guests or just for those using the Spa. If it is for hotel guests then it would be great if reception mentioned it when checking in. The Internet is poor. It did not work on tablets for 2 days then miraculously started working. To be fair to the hotel they did give us the password to their private internet so our young daughter could get online. The normal internet access was so slow it was almost unusable with a download speed of 0.08 mbps (I tested this a few times). Seeing that the Chateau advertises rooms for seminars I cannot see how this internet provision would work for any business meeting. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it is only because we have been before and experienced a different class of service that we probably felt things were not quite as good this time. You rather get the feeling that the owner is trying to maximise profit no matter what, it is of course a business and this is what businesses do but I fear in doing this it will lose its exceptional reputation and become just another Chateau in Provence.

Great and very friendly stuff. But what we couldn’t understand is that the restaurant was given full! That what one thing we were booking the hotel that we can go to sleep with our baby directly from the restaurant.

it is all about the service! no AC in the room and cant be fix cant find the reservation while the person who confirmed it is the is the one at counter. dinner...dont know where to sit....sit there but no, all confusion only three wine lists, cant look at it to long! smile is not something common in dinning area except for breakfast and the young lady who worked at Rochegude (they are both excellent)
