We had a very enjoyable stay at Château de Massillon. Unfortunately when we checked in the internet wa snot working. The reception team should have told us when we checked in, rather than we neededing to go back to the reception and ask. After a number of promises it was working, it was not. So we could have internet, we needed to buy a 5G package as we are from overseas and we did nit have a local phone. I informed the reception and they said they would pay for the internet package, so we could have internet. Anyway, the next afternoon, the internet was eventually repaired after the visit of the technician a number of times. When I went to check out, I asked if an amount had been deducted form our account. The answer was “no, why”. I expleined the situation and was told that they had no authority to give a discount. I said I was expecting about Europe for the cost of the package. To make matters worse, the person then asked me to show a receipt for the package, which I did. VERY POOR customer service. Eventually she deducted the amount from our account. The overall experience was a pity, as it has put a dark cloud on what was otherwise a very pleasant stay at the Château. One other thing we must mention, We thought the gardens outside the rooms we had, we had Room 2, were very untidy and really needing a good replanting and tidy up. Lyn & Michael Lawrence

C'était l'une des meilleures expériences que nous ayons jamais eues ! En plus du travail annuel en tant que coachs et éducateurs physiques, nous sommes également une famille de parents artistes avec deux enfants adolescents. Un été de 44 spectacles prévus sur 45 nuits. Notre seule nuit libre était précisément le soir de l'anniversaire de mon mari. Mon anniversaire a également lieu dans une semaine. Nous avons donc choisi quelque chose qui pourrait être vraiment spécial. Le château a dépassé nos attentes. Nous avons pu profiter d'un dîner surprenant et accueillant. Délicieux petit-déjeuner et déjeuner le lendemain. SPA divin ! Chambres fantastiques. Nous avons estimé que toute l'équipe a fait de son mieux pour que notre séjour soit vraiment inoubliable. Merci beaucoup aux créateurs de ce merveilleux projet.

Everything was great except for two or three people working there who were very unprofessional. Hospitality is clearly not for them… Also, we arrived at 2:30 pm and our room wasn’t ready so we asked for two swimming pools towels. They told us that they would charge us for this service because the towels come with the room… (we were staying for 3 nights!). Besides that, everything was great.

We stayed two nights at this beautiful chateau. The room was fine, though it was a pity it was too hot to sit on the Accompanying terrace during that period. But we that would be fantastic in the spring and autumn. Fortunately, there was plenty of space to relax in the garden and by the pool. We can't name any real drawbacks, except that it was a pity the restaurant "Le M" didn't have an à la carte menu on Saturdays and was closed on Sundays. However, this was more than compensated for by the excellent meals served by the bistro.

We loved the establishment, everything was lovely especially the renovated rooms and the amazing restaurants. The waiters at the restaurant were extremely professional. The only feedback is the swimming pool water is very cold and there is no one around the pool areas to take orders & reception staff can be a bit nicer :)

We visited the chateau for the third time; the stay, the dining, and the surroundings are superb. However, one major point for improvement is the hospitality. The receptionist wasn’t particularly happy to welcome us, and questions were answered on autopilot. But the worst impression we had was from the breakfast. The lady responsible for the reception acted as if we weren’t there—no good morning, nothing. She saw us struggling with the pancake machine, which apparently shouldn’t be plugged in yet. She just let us search and forced us to crawl under the table only to find that the plug wasn’t connected. She avoided eye contact, was busy arranging the cookies just right, and made sure not to be in the dining area too much. When we later confronted her about it, we were told that it wasn't her job to explain things... In short, unprofessional, a complete lack of hospitality, and a huge disappointment.
