Chef Patrick Käppler and his team offer a French gastronomy, fine and inventive in the dining room, which offers a unique and spectacular view of Paris. The menu is adapted to each season with a choice of fresh products of high quality. The large gallery parquet, fireplace, sofas and seating areas invite you to relax with an aperitif or digestif. The modern kitchen footprint eventually replaced the noble old recipes. Recall that it was here in 1847, that Collinet invented Béarnaise sauce and blown apples. Pavillon Henri IV of the restaurant has a panoramic terrace open in summer.

The hotel was perfect. Lovely room overlooking Paris. Amazing location. Very helpful staff and great breakfast. I would return and recommend this hotel if you like staying in a characterful historic building

We like to have breakfast when we wake at our hotel a la carte as we don't eat much (maybe a coffee and croissant). We were disappointed to hear you only have the buffet option for $24 EUR. That is $38 Canadian which is an enormous amount of money for a small breakfast. This meant we had to leave the hotel each morning to find a reasonable breakfast. That was frustrating and it felt like a basic need was not met. It would be so easy for you to offer an a la carte option. We are returning at the end of September and would love to see a change in your service in this respect.

Perfect for a family of 4 wanting to explore Paris. Location is only 25 mins from the centre with good parking, easy train links, and lovely shops/ bars/restaurants on the doorstep as well as a stunning park. All steeped in history. Worth a stay!

The hotel needs repair and painting. The hotel must provide A/C in ALL rooms in these climate-changing hot summers! The staff needs to follow up on emails - we arranged for an early check-in half day but the room wasn’t ready. We also arranged for a wheel chair but have not received confirmation of it being at the hotel at a specific date/time nor did the front desk staff know about our request.

The site is beautiful with a nice park to walk, the room are beautiful and comfortable bed, but those ancient chairs and sofa are not. Down side is when you come to Paris where there a reputation for excellent food and coffee, you don’t expect having instant coffee in the room. For the price of the room and the prestige of this hotel, I think a type of Nespresso machine is a minimum. The breakfast is like all other hotel in Paris, to expensive for what you get.

We stayed 3 nights. The room was very small but clean. The location of the hotel is amazing and the view on Paris absolutely unique. The hotel also has the charm of the very typical French style We had breakfast : small buffet but everything you need. We could easily park our car on the private parking of the hotel. A few points to improve : the hotel would need some upgrades (eg. The paint going off in the stairs, a plug for e-cars etc….) And would also need some more attention to details : the door of the shower doesn’t fully close (I think last refurbishment was many years ago), attention to customer (eg we stayed over 20 mns on the terrace in the evening no one came to order our drinks - so we just left at some point) All in all : still a very good hotel which I would recommend

The room and especially the view of the Seine and the Eiffel Tower from our 3rd floor suite were wonderful. The location to the royal gardens right out the front door was very convenient to a remarkable resource of St. Germain. The castle of Henry IV and archeology museum, the church, and the town were a short 5 minute walk. The lady taking care of the breakfast room was very nice and efficient, and room service was very professional. But the service provided by Abele, with the light brown hair was exceptional.

Mostly relaxing and quiet except for a very noisy function one night. Would be good to inform customers of this in advance.
